The FCMC Self Help Resource Center is a free walk-in service to help you represent yourself in court without a lawyer. We cannot offer legal advice, but can point you to helpful resources.
Legal information includes court forms, tools to help you complete court forms, and answers to general questions about court procedures. The Center is open on a walk-in basis - no appointment necessary.
Please be aware that we have moved our office. We are still in the Franklin County Municipal Court complex, but our new office is located at:

NOTE: The Center will be closed from Feb. 19 through Feb. 23 for staff training. We will reopen on Feb. 26 at 9:00 AM.

Income qualified Visitors can get legal advice from a Volunteer Attorney.

The Self Help Resource Center is a special project of the Franklin County Municipal Court set up to provide information to self represented parties. The Center is for people who want to start a civil case in Franklin County Municipal Court, and for people who already have a civil case pending in the Franklin County Municipal Court.
The Self Help Resource Center and this website will help you better understand the civil court process by providing accurate information and explaining your options.
